The House recently passed a Farm Bill with many aspects to it which will damage our environment by ruining food and water supplies (pesticides) as well as reduce the stability of ecosystems in many areas by reducing protections for endangered wildlife. In addition, it seems to want to log ‘anywhere’, ‘anytime’ at great risk to ecosystems, endangered wildlife, and water supplies (forests are needed to retain water from rain and clean groundwater of many contaminants-read sewage and the like). It’s ridiculous the number of people who destroy with pesticides one of our last hopes for survival. At least this will do something (and don’t use pesticides indiscriminately (meaning don’t use them, almost, at all).
